The answer is no, and understanding the difference changes everything.
What is a hair & body mist (and why it's not a perfume)
An Eau de Parfum is concentrated, designed to last for hours on a few strategic points. A Hair & Body Mist is its opposite: a light, sprayable formula, designed to envelop hair and body in a diffused cloud of fragrance. Less concentration, but more freedom of use.
ALV Bon Bon functional Hair & Body Mists add an extra layer: the formula contains hyaluronic acid and aloe vera extract, which actively hydrate the skin as the fragrance settles. Not just perfume, then — but real care.
How to apply: a step-by-step guide
On hair Spray from about 20–30 cm away, from mid-lengths to ends. Hair is the best "natural diffuser" we have: it retains the fragrance for a long time and releases it with every movement. The hyaluronic acid in the formula also contributes to softness and shine.
On body The ideal time is right after a shower, on skin that is still slightly damp: open pores and residual hydration better retain the olfactory molecules. Apply to wrists, neck, décolletage, and ankles.
Layering The four Bon Bon fragrances, Mango Gelato, Coco Cream, Vanilla Crush and Sugar Haze, are also designed to be layered. Try Vanilla Crush on the body and Sugar Haze on the hair, or combine Coco Cream with Mango Gelato for a personalized version. Layering is the most modern way to wear a perfume.
As a refresh during the day Unlike an eau de parfum, mist is made to be reapplied. Keep it in your bag for a mid-afternoon boost: two spritzes are enough to revive your scent trail.
How long does it last?
Longer than you think. The formula with hyaluronic acid anchors the fragrance to hydrated skin, extending its diffusion. On hair and fabrics, the persistence is even greater.
